Maximo Park are on track for their first UK Number 1 album with their latest record Nature Always Wins, which is leading an all-new Top 7 on today (Mar. 1)’s Official Chart Update.
The Newcastle upon Tyne band are just shy of 1,500 copies ahead in an extremely tight race – just 2,500 chart sales separate the entire Top 5 at the midweek mark of the week.
Nature Always Wins is on course to be Maximo Park’s first Top 10 album in seven years, and their highest charting since 2007’s Our Monthly Pleasures peaked at Number 2 on the Official Albums Chart. Look back at where all of Maximo Park’s albums and singles charted in the UK.

The Neo-soul singer has landed a nomination in the Best R&B Performance category for All I Need , alongside the R&B megastar s Black Parade , and she is still not over receiving a nod in the same list as the Crazy in Love hitmaker.
Speaking to the Daily Star newspaper s Wired column, Mahalia said: The one sentence that keeps going through my brain is that if Beyonce watches, she will hear my name alongside hers - that is crazy. Just thinking about that to me is insane - the thought that we are on the same list, and that she might hear my name is astonishing to me. I cannot believe that!

A year ago, Samantha Kapustin could only dream of bouncing on a trampoline. I was so tired and spent most of my life in my bed or just doing nothing, she said. It sucked to see all my friends doing things I couldn t do.
The 13-year-old was born with biliary atresia, a rare and incurable liver disease that can be deadly if not treated.
